He just kept hawking his protein powder, for sale in health stores! That turned me off. Kind of hard to take it too seriously after knowing that. He is not a nutritionist or a scientist; he is a vegan athlete. If you are considering a plant-based or mostly plant-based diet while working out, this book will still benefit you.
